This violin is a pristine example from this legendary luthier family. The 1949 winner of the Cremona Exhibition. Their son, Bernard, is one of the world’s greatest authorities of French bow making and proprietor of a firm bearing the family name. This youngish violin is in excellent condition. The golden rose varnish is absolutely transparent and alive. Its powerful, even voice is true to the French school.
